Solid fuel water heating boilers KALVIS are engineered for heating the premises, equipped with the central heating system with gravity or force-feed circulation. Dry wood logs are the best fuel for heating: using the wood with moisture content not exceeding 20% increases the boiler output and reduces consumption of the fuel. Please, use the logs, seasoned no less than one year. Pieces of waste wood, peat and saw dust briquettes or coal may be used as a substitute fuel. If necessary, one can use the wood of high moisture, but only in case,when the boiler has reached appropriate operating parameters,which means, that system is hot and the temperature of the heat conductor is 70-80˚С.
It is necessary to choose the boiler output depending on the heating area. We offer boilers with the nominal output from 12 to 70 kW. Technical specifications chart below facilitates you to choose the most efficient option for your home.
No matter what option you will choose, it is necessary to strictly follow main instructions of installing and handling the equipment. Installation, run and servicing facilities must be conducted by the licensed organisation with relevant permissions. The boiler must be installed in separate placement (not in residential room or corridor) complying with the fire safety regulations and flue and chimney stack requirements.
On the condition of qualified installation arrangements and appropriate run and handling the equipment, the boiler will operate safely and for a long time.
